Lucky Find: Vintage Romanian Marbled Pottery

A small hand-painted pottery plate with a feathered, marbled spiral in burnt orange, chocolate brown, cream, and pale blue. The design is typical of Romanian Horezu folk pottery, where the pattern is drawn in liquid slip with a horn and a fine stick. It looks good on a wall, on a plate stand, or as a catchall on a console. Light rubbing along the rim, consistent with age.
Approx. 4.25" D.
